Ten Steps for Healthy Toddlers: change through practical education
Summary of work
Danone Nutricia Early Life Nutrition’s 10-year commitment to supporting the educational work of the Infant & Toddler Forum (ITF) is a cornerstone of the company’s commitment to improving health education. Since 2004, the ITF’s multidisciplinary group of experts have educated healthcare professionals (HCPs), early years’ practitioners and parents about infant and toddler feeding and nutrition. Programmes such as Ten Steps for Healthy Toddlers provide credible, independent information supporting better nutrition as a key intervention to improve health for life – in-line with Danone Nutricia Early life Nutrition’s guiding principle ‘to bring health through food’. The widespread adoption and implementation of the Ten Steps programme in early years’ settings is testament to the value of the ITF’s resources, and its positive impact in practice.
