Welcome to the PMEA Awards
What is the PMEA programme?
PMEA rewards responsible customer-centric business practices that ensure treatments and advice provide patients with meaningful outcomes, recognising excellence in global, regional and local work.
It reflects the dynamic healthcare environment and the industry’s development of new, intelligent ways to improve patient care and outcomes and provide greater value for healthcare providers and payers.
Each year the categories and programme are scrutinised to ensure that PMEA continues to be specifically designed to recognise and commend excellence, best practice and innovation in European, international and local markets. For 2026, the judging criteria and categories have once again been refined.

The PMEA Awards offer pharma/biotech companies, healthcare providers and charities, alongside their supporting agencies/consultancies, a unique opportunity to showcase their brilliant work. Last year's winners ranged from the largest to many smaller pharma and biotech, from regular entrants to first time winners, from Africa to Australia, Europe to US. At their core, the awards recognize the life sciences industry’s magnificent contributions to enhancing the lives of our ultimate customers - our patients. Encouraging entries that demonstrate innovation between companies and healthcare providers, payers and partners, the judges look for “market excellence” in all its forms - do check out the categories which we refresh every year. The entry process is clear, simple and rigorously fair. Teams tell us they appreciate taking a step out to reflect on their achievements, and who doesn’t like a gala dinner! Did someone say "life science industry Oscars”?
