Stephanie Hall is the CEO and founder of Uptake, a global healthcare consultancy specialising in planning, strategy, capability and launch and recipient of the King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. Stephanie has been recognised as one of the UK’s top 10 women entrepreneurs in EY’s Winning Women Entrepreneurs’ programme and won the International category at the National Businesswomen’s awards. Stephanie has over 25+ years’ experience in marketing, finance, sales roles and consultancy projects in multi-national pharma/biotech companies (GSK, Eli Lilly & Co, Sanofi) and alliance partnerships. Stephanie speaks regularly at industry conferences and is the author of the Pharma Brand Planners’ blog, Launch Leaders’ blog and Pharma Marketers’ blog in Pharma Market Europe (PME) and pmlive.com. Charlie Buckwell has held successful leadership roles across the pharma industry and communications agencies, including leading the development and transformation of the Medical Communications capability at IPG Health, the world’s most awarded health communications network.
With over 35 years in healthcare communications, Charlie’s journey began client-side with AstraZeneca, where he gained invaluable experience in Global Marketing before transitioning agency-side in 2001. He led the growth of Medical Communications at McCann Health and then IPG Health, as well as serving as President of McCann Health EMEA and President of the McCann Health Global Scientific Council, and as a member of the IPG Health Executive Leadership Team. Charlie is an advocate of public-private partnership in healthcare provision and has a specific interest in programs that close the gap between science and real-life clinical practice, and a passion for fostering supportive and inclusive work environments where people can thrive and excel. He hold’s an MBA from Lancaster Management School, where he focused on best practice strategy development and intervening in complex organizations and systems. |
