What is the PMEA programme?
PMEA rewards responsible customer-centric business practices that ensure treatments and advice provide patients with meaningful outcomes, recognising excellence in global, regional and local work.
It reflects the dynamic healthcare environment and the industry’s development of new, intelligent ways to improve patient care and outcomes and provide greater value for healthcare providers and payers.
Each year the categories and programme are scrutinised to ensure that PMEA continues to be specifically designed to recognise and commend excellence, best practice and innovation in European, international and local markets. For 2025, the judging criteria and categories have once again been refined.

PMEA 2025 entry period is from January 2024 – June 2025 unless otherwise stated in the category description.

PMEA offers pharma/biotech companies, healthcare charities and their supporting partners/ agencies across many different sectors and geographies the unique opportunity to showcase the quality and effectiveness of your work whilst retaining the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality. We have created a series of categories to stimulate entries from a wide range of programmes and organisations – with global, regional and local scale – united in a desire to improve or transform patient outcomes. These awards showcase the industry’s great thinking, use of technology, innovation and collaboration. We welcome entries at global, regional and national levels, across different therapeutic areas and organisations – large or small.
